Stone Seal. Sassanian Empire. 224 BC - 651 CE. (28 mm.) Quartzite. An O type stamp seal with round embellishments across back and a central hole for suspension. On the face, an ibex reclined faces left, a star behind and crescent moon before. All surrounded by inscription in Pahlavi. Göbl 55a. Intact with minor deposits in design. A nice example of type..
