POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (85 mm tall x 125 mm wide). An Olpe with black glaze over ¾’s of the piece. The squat foot meets a tapered body that flares into a softly sloping shoulder and simple rounded lip. To either side, handles extend above the lip, attached at the shoulder. Exhibits extreme chipping and loss of glaze to the lip, covering most of the area.
