POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (25 mm tall x 105 mm wide). A squat, simple skyphos with simple cylindrical short foot attached to a wide bowl with two handles to each side. Designs on external wall of the body, V Chevrons with double lined border on one side, S shaped running pattern over double lined border. Extensive patina on piece. One handle was reattached rather nicely/expertly. Attractive in hand.
