POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (110 mm tall x 80 mm wide). A Blackware guttus with squat foot holding an ovoid shaped body with a squat spout with flared lip. Tightly formed to the interior, a handle extends from the spout to the opposite end of the vessel. A small, ridged area on the back provides a ridge on the back side of the guttus. Patina present. Minor loss of glaze on handle and spout. Some reddening of the glaze from slip on back. Surface crack. Some deposits.
