Statue of Zeus Philios seated right, holding patera and spear; to his right, Trajan standing left, in military attire, holding a spear; all within tetrastyle temple with three steps / Statue of Augustus standing facing, head right, wearing military attire, holding spear and globe(?); to his right, Roma stands facing, head left, crowning Augustus with wreath and holding cornucopia; all within tetrastyle temple with three steps. Weisser, Pergamon 290; RPC III 1717; SNG BN 2078-81. Earthen green patina, a few minor deposits. VF. Finer than most illustrated in RPC. |
