JEWELRY. Egypt. Late Dynastic Period. 664-332 BCE. (7.7 cm). Bronze. A bronze Bes amulet with encrustations. The figure faces forward, wearing a tall crown but otherwise is nude. His right arm is raised with a club in hand above his head. His left-hand rests to his side, his legs are bowed. Loss of detail and significant encrustation still present. |
