COMMODO CAES AVG FIL GERM SARM, bareheaded and draped bust right / DE SARMATIS, two captives seated left and right at base of trophy. RIC III 609 (Aurelius); MIR 18, –; RSC 93a; BMCRE 643 (Aurelius and Commodus). Darkly toned, some roughness, a few shallow scratches under tone, minor deposits. VF. Very rare. Only one example in CoinArchives.
