MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 450-400 BC. AR Hemiobol (6.5mm, 0.27 g, 7h). Forepart of boar right / Head of lion right within incuse square. Von Fritze II 16 var. (lion head left); SNG Arikantürk 450 var. (same); SNG BN 392 var. (same). Lightly toned, some porosity, a couple of minor die breaks on reverse. Good VF. Very rare with lion head right. |
