Poseidon, bearded and nude but for chlamys draped over both arms, standing right, preparing to cast trident held aloft in right hand, left arm extended; retrograde ΠOMES downward to right / Bull standing left; retrograde ΠOMES above; all within circular incuse. HN Italy 1116; SNG Lloyd 436 (same obv. die); SNG München 1058. Deep old cabinet tone, with some iridescence, slight die wear on reverse. Near EF. Lovely style.
