Lion attacking right, biting into the hindquarter of a bull kneeling left, head right, biting the leg of the lion; Θ above, three ground lines below, the middle composed of pellets; floral ornament in exergue / Quadripartite incuse square. Desneux 69–79 (unlisted dies); AMNG III/2, 5; HGC 3, 383; SNG ANS 10 var. (bull head left); SNG Spencer 109; SNG Lockett 1282; Boston MFA 520 = Warren 536. Attractive light toning, deposits on reverse. Good VF. Well struck on a broad flan.
