Bee with straight wings, seen from above; E-Φ flanking head / Forepart of stag right, head left; palm tree to left, ΑPIΣTAΓOPΑΣ to right. Karwiese II, Series 11.1, 256 var., dies O166/R1 (unlisted die combination, obv. die unlisted for issue); Waddington 1525 (same rev. die). Dark iridescent toning, some light scratches under tone. VF. Rare.

Although Aristagoras was not previously known on a reverse used with this obverse die, O166, he is known on dies paired with both the preceding and succeeding obverses, O165 and O167.
