Laureate head right / L • MESCINI VS • RVFVS, Mars, wearing crested helmet, naked except for a cloak falling over his right arm, standing left on low pedestal, holding transverse spear in right hand and parazonium in left; S • P • Q • R/V • PR • RE/CAES in three lines on pedestal. RIC I 351; RSC 463a; BMCRE 86 = BMCRR Rome 4479; BN 331-6. Lightly toned, faint hairlines. Near EF. Well centered on a broad, round flan.
