Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.58 g, 6h). Uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Caesaraugusta?). Struck circa 19-18 BC. Head left, wearing oak wreath / DIVVS • IVLIVS across field, comet with eight rays and tail. RIC I 37b; RSC 97. Old cabinet toning, banker’s mark on obverse, granular surfaces, marks and scratches under tone, edge marks. VF.
