Divus Augustus. Died AD 14. Æ Sestertius (34.5mm, 27.30 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck under Tiberius, AD 36-37. Quadriga of elephants walking left, with riders; Augustus, radiate, seated left in car, holding laurel branch and scepter / Legend around large S • C. RIC I 68 (Tiberius). Red-brown surfaces, smoothing, flan void on reverse. Good VF.
