SICILY, Gela. Circa 490/85-480/75 BC. AR Didrachm (23.5mm, 8.61 g, 11h). Warrior, nude, riding right, preparing to cast javelin / Forepart of man-headed bull right. Jenkins, Gela, Group Ib, 34A (O11/R15’); HGC 2, 362. Iridescent tone, some weakness to strike, numerous light scratches, die wear on obverse. VF.
