Galba. AD 68-69. Æ As (27mm, 10.42 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa June-August AD 68. SER GABA IMP CAES AVG [sic], laureate head right / VESTA in exergue, S C across field, Vesta seated left, holding patera and palladium. Cf. RIC I 305. Brown patina with lighter highlights, edge marks. VF. An interesting engraving error with “Galba” misspelled. Rare as such.
