Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (20.5mm, 5.75 g, 6h). Uncertain mint. IMP CARAVSIVS P I AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / VIRT V S AV, Moneta standing right, holding cornucopia and scales; RP. RIC –. Dark green patina. VF. Extremely rare and unlisted in the old RIC V. A very curious coin.
