Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (15.5mm, 3.64 g, 6h). Rotomagus (Rouen) mint. Radiate and cuirassed bust right / Galley right, with rowers, waves below; OPR(retrograde). RIC V – but cf. 649 (for reverse type). Brown-green patina, edge chips. Near VF. Extremely rare. Struck on a very compact flan.
