Laureate and cuirassed bust left, balteus across shoulder, holding spear and shield / Sol standing left, holding globe and whip; –|*//PLN. RIC VI 175 corr. (bust type); RML 332 (forthcoming); C&T 7.03.029; Lord Stewartby, “Coins of the Mint of London from the Boursies Hoard” in RN XXXVI (1994), pl. XIII, 26 (same obv. die). Dark green and brown patina, slight roughness, flan crack. Good VF. Very rare.
