Constantine I. AD 307/310-337. Æ Follis (20.5mm, 3.94 g, 6h). Londinium (London) mint. Struck circa AD 314. Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Mars, helmeted and wearing military attire, standing right, holding reversed spear and resting hand on shield set on ground to right; S|F//PLN. RIC VI –; RML 628 (forthcoming); C&T 8.02.008. Dark green-brown patina, light cleaning scratches. Near EF. Very rare and exceptionally heavy for this issue struck at a theoretical weight of 3.36 g. The heaviest example known to this cataloger.
