Theodosius II. AD 402-450. AV Tremissis (14mm, 1.48 g, 12h). Constantinople mint. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Victory advancing front, head left, holding wreath and globus cruciger; star to right; CONOB. RIC X 213 and 249; Depeyrot 70/1. Toned and lustrous, slight bend at edge, a few light scratches. Superb EF. A magnificent example.
