Zeno. Second reign, AD 476-491. Æ (15.5mm, 0.98 g, 12h). Constantinople mint(?). D N (Z retrograde)E NO PE VC, helmeted, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Uncertain legend, perhaps a blundered ZENO VIC or similar derivative(?), Victory advancing left, holding wreath and dragging captive by the hair to right; cross to left. Cf. RIC X 947 (for similar issue); cf. MIRB 25 (same); cf. CGB MBS 36, 1127 corr. (ruler; for similar reverse). Dark brown and earthen patina, bold double strike on reverse. VF. Very rare.
