C. Sulpicius C.f. Galba. 106 BC. AR Serrate Denarius (18mm, 3.87 g, 2h). Rome mint. Jugate and laureate heads of Dei Penates left / Two male figures standing facing one another, each holding a spear and pointing at sow which lies between; N above. Crawford 312/1; Sydenham 572; Sulpicia 1; RBW 1155 var. (control letter). Colorful iridescent cabinet toning, underlying luster, some die rust on the obverse, collector’s inventory number 951 in the exergue on reverse. Good VF.
