L. Cassius Caecianus. 102 BC. AR Denarius (18.5mm, 3.85 g, 10h). Rome mint. Wreathed bust of Ceres left, drapery around neck; control mark to upper right / Two yoked oxen pulling plow left; •X above. Crawford 321/1; Sydenham 594; Cassia 4; RBW –. Attractive iridescent cabinet toning, a couple of edge test cuts. Good VF.
