Radiate and cuirassed bust right; B below / Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Vabalathus left; in intaglio. Cf. RIC V 381 (for issue without partial brockage); cf. BN 1241-3 (same). Dark brown-green and earthen patina. Good VF.

An unusual error with the correct obverse die being struck, but with a partial reverse brockage of the Vabalathus reverse die causing Vabalathus to be incuse and reverse.
