Laureate and cuirassed bust left, holding spear and shield / Banded globe set on altar inscribed VOT/IS/ XX in three lines; three stars above; PLON. RIC VII 279; RML 1040; C&T 9.05.020; C. King, “The Appleford Hoard” in RBN CXXIII (1977) p. 65, 533-75 (this coin one of). Dark green-brown patina, minor reverse die wear. Good VF.
