Constantine II. As Caesar, AD 316-337. Æ Follis (19.5mm, 3.45 g, 6h). Londinium (London) mint. Struck under Constantine I, circa AD 322-324. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust left, seen from behind / Banded globe set upon altar inscribed VOT/IS/ XX in three lines; three stars above; F|B//PLON. RIC VII –; RML 1097; C&T 9.06.026; C. King, “The Appleford Hoard” in RBN CXXIII (1977) p. 64, 395-445 and 452-4 corr. (RIC reference; this coin one of). Dark green-brown patina, minor reverse die wear. Good VF. C&T note that King evidentially erroneously missed the differences for this particular issue in the Appleford hoard and likely cataloged them as RIC 255’s.
