LYDIA, Maeonia. Severan Era. AD 193-235. Æ (15mm, 2.12 g, 6h). Laureate head of Demos right / Kantharos with two bunches of grapes on the vine. Hochard 1315 (D99/R156); Kurth 24 (same dies); RPC –. Dark green patina with light earthen highlights, minor cleaning scratches. VF. Extremely rare, only one recorded in Hochard, not yet published in RPC. |
