LYDIA, Tripolis. temp. Severus Alexander. AD 222-235. Æ (22.5mm, 4.78 g, 6h). Veiled and draped bust of Boule right / Artemis standing right, drawing arrow from quiver at shoulder and holding bow. Kurth 29 var. (Artemis advancing right); RPC VI Online 30843. Earthen green patina. VF. Extremely rare, only one recorded in RPC.

RPC online notes: “This type was formerly listed as RPC IX, 799. Die links now indicate its attribution to the reign of Severus Alexander.” The obverse is die-linked to a reverse of Dionysus, which is also very rare.
