Laureate head right / Derketo, holding dove and scepter, standing left on Triton holding cornucopia; ςNC (date) down right. RPC IV.3 Online 6376; BMC 195-6; Sofaer 52 var. (date). Red-brown surfaces, some roughness. VF. Extremely rare, only three recorded in RPC.

Derketo was a fertility goddess unique to the city of Ascalon. She was probably a local version of Atargatis, an already regionalized version of Aphrodite and Cybele.
