EGYPT, Alexandria. Faustina Junior. Augusta, AD 147-175. Æ Obol (18mm, 4.32 g, 12h). Dated RY 13 of Antoninus Pius (AD 149/50). [ΦAYCTINA CЄBACTH], draped bust right / Serpent Uraeus erect right, crowned with solar disk and horns, holding grain ears and poppies in its coils; L IΓ (date) across field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 9145 var. (Uraeus right); K&G –; RPC IV.4 1230 var. (same); Emmett 2038.13 (RY 13 unrecorded). Dark brown patina with earthen highlights, edge splilts. Fine. Unpublished date - unique.

The Uraeus obol is known for Faustina II, RY 13, but with a different hairstyle, without the grain and poppies, and facing right. This same type is known for years 15 and 16.
