Cn. Gellius. 138 BC. Fourrée Denarius (18mm, 3.02 g, 6h). Rome mint. Helmeted head of Roma right; X (mark of value) to left; all within laurel wreath / Mars driving galloping quadriga right, grasping Nerio beside him. Cf. Crawford 232/1 (all references for official issue); cf. Sydenham 434; cf. Gellia 1; cf. RBW 962. Iridescent toning, breaks in plating revealing core, deposits. Good VF.
