LANCASTER. Henry VI. First reign, 1422-1461. AR Penny (18mm, 0.94 g, 9h). Annulet issue. London (Tower) mint; im: plain cross. Struck 1422-1427. Crowned facing bust / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters, additional annulets in second and third quarters. GGMP 1/B (dies 1ii/Bi; this coin illustrated); Whitton, Heavy 1; North 1431; SCBC 1844. Deep iridescent toning, some ghosting. Near EF. A beautiful specimen.
