SIKYONIA, Sikyon. Circa 431-400 BC. AR Stater (24mm, 11.86 g, 12h). Chimaera standing right, raising forepaw; ΣE above / Dove flying right within wreath. BCD Peloponnesos 192 var. (dove left; same obv. die); HGC 5, 187 corr. var. (photo labelled 188; same; same obv. die as illustration). Lightly toned, remnants of find patina, polished, goat portion of chimaera apparently removed in cleaning, scratch on obverse, double struck on reverse. VF.
