Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Two soldiers standing facing, heads turned toward one another, each holding spear and resting hand on shield set on ground between them; signum between them; PLG. Cf. RIC VII 271 (for similar official issue); LRBC –; cf. CNG 580, lot 732 (example from the 1989 Nether Compton (Dorset) Hoard). Dark brown patina, some roughness. VF.
