Isaac Droulenos. Sebastos and mystikos, 13th century. PB Seal (37mm, 46.18 g, 12h). O/ ΘЄ/OΔ/ωP/S - O/ (CT)PA/TH/ΛA/T/H/C in two columnar groups, St. Theodore Stratelates standing facing, nimbate and wearing military attire, holding spear and resting hand on shield set on ground to right / CΦPAΓIC/ CЄBA(CT)(OV) MV/CTIK(OV) (CT)PA(TH)ΛA/THC ICAAKIOV/ ΔR(OV)Λ(HN)(OV) (CT)Є/PPOC ΦV/ΛAΞ in seven lines. Cf. BLZ.1951.31.5.2915 (for similar as sebastos); Leu Web 24, lot 3681. Tan surfaces, a couple of light scuffs at edge. Good VF. A wonderfully complete example. Superior to both the DOC and the Leu seals.
