Elagabalus. AD 218-222. AR Denarius (19mm, 2.98 g, 6h). Uncertain eastern mint. Struck AD 218-219. ANTONINVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / VENVS VICTRIX, Venus standing left, holding Victory and transverse scepter; shield to right. Cohen 287. For a contemporary forgery of similar types, see: RIC IV 204; BMCRE 292; RSC 287. Toned, spots of porosity. VF. Extremely rare, apparently only the second known.

Curtis Clay notes one other specimen, from the same dies and recorded by him as being in Vienna, but apparently absent from the online catalog. This is also the example recorded by Cohen.
