IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / PAX AVGVSTI, Pax advancing left, holding olive branch and transverse scepter. Bland, Gordian III 72; RIC IV 214; RSC 179. Lightly toned. VF. Rare bust type for issue.

Bland, Gordian III 73; RIC IV 214; RSC 179a. Lightly toned. VF. Struck on a heavy flan, heavier than any recorded by Bland for this type.
