CILICIA, Tarsus. Valerian I. AD 253-260. Æ (30mm, 14.92 g, 6h). Games issue. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Three athletes, each holding palm and crowning himself. SNG BN 1814; SNG Levante 1187. Earthen dark brown patina, digs on obverse, cleaning scratches on reverse, holed in antiquity for suspension. Near VF. Rare.
