IRELAND. Edward IV. Second reign, 1471-1483. AR Groat (24mm, 2.04 g, 2h). Class VI, Light ‘Cross and Pellets’ coinage. Limerick mint. Struck 1472-1478?. Crowned facing bust, L on breast; cinquefoils flanking neck; all within tressure of nine arches with trefoils on cusps / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in opposite quarters, cinquefoil and two pellets in others. D&F –; SCBC 6343. Edge chips, some marks. Toned. Good Fine.
