EUBOIA, Eretria. Circa 500-465 BC. Fourrée Stater (23mm, 6.58 g, 9h). Cow standing right, head reverted with hind leg scratching muzzle, on ornate ground line; E below / Octopus within incuse square. For prototype: cf. BCD Euboia 313; cf. HGC 4, 1505. Lightly toned, break in plating on reverse that exposes core. Good VF. Very rare as a fourrée.
