JUDAEA, Neapolis. Caracalla. 198-217 CE. BI Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 14.48 g, 12h). Struck 215-217 CE. Radiate and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; between legs, three-horned altar. RPC V.3 Online 91487 (this coin cited); Kropp –; Prieur 1310 (Byblus). Lustrous, minor marks. Good VF. Extremely rare, only one known to Prieur, two in RPC.
