BRITANNIARUM REX FID : DEI : , crowned ONE/ SHILLING within wreath of roses, shamrocks, and thistles. Bull 3152 (there attributed to the reign of Victoria, but noting that it could be earlier). Minor marks. Mostly as made. Extremely rare – only one other example known, now in the Royal Mint Collection. No other shilling patterns exist for William IV. |
