Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Asklepios, holding cult idol of Artemis Ephesia and serpent-entwined staff, seated in biga drawn by two centaurs, one centaur holds a torch. Weisser, Pergamon 1220b; Franke & Nollé –; Kampmann –; RPC IV.2 Online 11331.1 (this coin); SNG BN –. Earthen brown surfaces, smoothing, flan crack. Good Fine. Extremely rare, only this coin in RPC, one other known to Weisser in the Winterthur Museum collection.
