Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front, gorgoneion on breastplate / Statue of Tyche Soterios standing left, wearing kalathos, holding rudder and cornucopia, within tetrastyle temple with arcuated lintel. Hochard 349 (D15/R14) = Kurth 44 = RPC V.2 Online 58953 (this coin). Yellow-brown surfaces, roughness, scratches. Near VF. Unique – the sole example recorded in the primary references.

Little is known about the Lydian town of Daldis, situated in the central Anatolian highlands, aside from its Roman Provincial coinage, which is fairly diverse and starts in the reign of Vespasian. The tetrastyle temple depicted here as containing a cult statue of Tyche may have been one of several similar shrines within the city; other coins depict the figure of Apollo seated within a similar arched enclosure.
