IMP [...] G, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / [...]OV S [...] AVG, Hilaritas standing left, holding long palm frond and cornucopia. RIC V.5 –; Lord Selborne, “On a Hoard of Roman Coins Found at Blackmoor, Hants” in NC 1877, p. 153, 148 and pl. II, 12 (this coin). Dark brown patina, some deposits. Good VF. An unusual seemingly aberrant Hilaritas type with a reverse legend most similar to those of Jupiter. Unique.
