Crowned and draped bust left within quatrefoil / + ÆL PINE ON MÆLDV, voided long cross with triple-crescent ends and pellet at center; all over quatrefoil; pellet in third spandrel. Blackburn & Lyon style Lon.Al; SCBI 66 (Norwegian), 2257 var. (rev. legend; same obv. die); North 781; SCBC 1157. Lustrous. Superb EF. An exceptionally high grade example in fine late London A style, with detailed stippling and line work depicting the air (absent most other dies in the series). Rare mint.
