SELEUKID EMPIRE. Philip I Philadelphos. Circa 95/4-76/5 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 15.31 g, 12h). Unattributed issue of Northern Syria or Cilicia. Diademed head right / Zeus Nikephoros seated left; all within wreath. Cf. SC 2470 (for issue at this mint); CNG E-606, 242 (same obv. die); HGC 9, –. Toned, flan flaw. VF. Very rare.

There does not appear to be a control mark under the throne on this coin, however, the coin shares many stylistic similarities with the SC 2470 plate coin as well as the CNG coin from the same obv. die.

Closing Date and Time: 21 October 2026 at 11:55:00 ET.

All winning bids are subject to a 20% buyer’s fee.
