JUDAEAN. Zoomorphic bronze weight. Iron Age II, 1200-586 BCE. (16.5mm, 6.38g). Æ half shekel scale weight in the shape of a tortoise. Cf. Hendin Weights, 186a-7. Dark brown patina, minor marks, reddish earthen deposits. Intact.
