1879-S Reverse of 1878 Morgan Dollar. In NGC encapsulation 5938154-003, graded MS 62. A Top 100 Variety. The Second Reverse has a parallel top feather and concave breast, struck from dies left over from 1878, rather than with the newly arrived dies from Philadelphia. Peach-brown and light blue iridescent toning about the peripheries.
